Le 6 juillet prochain sortira le film d’animation 3D Abla Pokou qui relate l’histoire de la reine Ashanti ayant sacrifié son enfant unique pour son peuple.
« Kouakou, mon unique enfant, pardonne-moi, mais j’ai compris qu’il faut que je te sacrifie pour la survie de notre tribu. Plus qu’une femme ou une mère, une reine est avant tout une reine ! » *

Initiative d’Afrikatoons à saluer, tout autant que le film Aya de Yopougon, ou encore Viva Riva, qui contribuent à donner un autre visage au continent africain.
Un film d’animation en 3D, mais une production qui permettra aux enfants et adultes qui le verront d’avoir un autre regard sur une Afrique très souvent synonyme de guerres, maladies et autres fléaux du 21ème siècle…
Mais ce jeune public représente les hommes et femmes afrodescendants et africains de demain: connaître leur propre histoire leur est essentiel!
